Scholarship Information
Open to all students in the All Saints Pastorate:
Bishop Hoch Scholarship
The Bishop Hoch Scholarship program was established to give the Diocese of Sioux Falls the ability to award a scholarship each year to a student from each of its deaneries who plans to attend Mount Marty University in Yankton. The scholarship is open to anyone intending to attend Mount Marty University in the next academic year including new students, students currently attending, non-traditional students, and transfer students. Applicants must be from a family registered at a parish in the Diocese of Sioux Falls and must submit an evaluation from their pastor and an evaluation from their high school principal, counselor, or college advisor.
Applications are due March 15, 2026.

The Patricia M. Larson Memorial Scholarship
The Patricia M. Larson Memorial Scholarship is open to all current high school seniors who are registered members of Saint Thomas More Parish and plan to further their education at a trade school, college, or university. This scholarship is $1,000 per year for up to four years as long as the receiving student continues to attend college. Scholarship recipients will be chosen based not only on academic achievement, but especially upon their faithfulness to the practice of their Catholic Faith. Two recipients will be chosen.
The Monsignor Doyle Scholarship
The Monsignor Doyle Scholarship is open to all current high school seniors who are registered members of Saint Thomas More Parish and plan to further their education at a trade school, college, or university. The number of scholarships awarded is determined by Saint Thomas More Finance Council. Each scholarship is a one-time gift of $1000 given only for the first year the student attends college or university. Scholarship recipients will be chosen based not only on academic achievement, but especially upon their faithfulness to the practice of their Catholic Faith.
The Application for the Patricia M. Larson Memorial Scholarship and the Monsignor Doyle Scholarship can be downloaded below or picked up in the STM Gathering Space or Parish Office. Completed applications should be brought to the St. Thomas More Parish Office by March 6, 2026.
If you are selected as a scholarship recipient, the scholarship will be sent directly to your chosen college or university.
