"Open your hearts to God's love; Listen to Him."

Mission Statement: Catholic Daughters of the Americas strive to embrace the principle of faith working through love, in the promotion of justice, equality and the advancement of human rights and human dignity for all mankind.

This National program gives the Catholic Daughters effective ways to serve their communities and missions. To be effective in promoting good works, we must reach out and make a difference in the lives of those who are suffering or those who need our love, support and prayers. Each point of the circle, Quality of Life, Youth, Education, Legislation, Spiritual Enhancement, Leadership, and Family are the areas that we focus on to make a difference; locally and nationally.

Our Charitable Works

What do you enjoy about being a Catholic Daughter?

"Having a 'sisterhood' of ladies who share the same deep love for the Lord and being able to help those most in need of love and support by our charitable works."

-Michele

Our members sew quilts for the beds given to needy families. Constructed by Sleep in Heavenly Peace and The Knights of Columbus, each bed is complete with linens and unique quilts made by Catholic Daughters. Since starting the project in 2020, 259 quilts have been donated.

On October 28, 2024, members filled 7 apple boxes with toys, clothing, and items that kids in Sudan, Africa War Refuge Camps might enjoy. Craig Severtson of Flandreau, with his mission "Helping Kids Round First", has helped families in Nicaragua learn to plant crops and raise livestock. He also has provided donations of baseball equipment. Now he is helping kids in Sudan, Africa War Refugee Camps where the 7 boxes will go. Court St. Agnes #618 is happy to be of help.

Informational handouts were distributed for WRAP (White Ribbons Against Pornography) the week of October 30 .

A Life Saver project provides support of the local Domestic Abuse Shelter.
