Drop Off Weekend for Pastorate Relief Project

Saturday, October 31 - Sunday, November 1 | St Thomas More East Parking Lot, Brookings

Please save items for our next drop-off weekend for the refugees and poor of Central America and Africa. The items will be delivered to those who need them by the Helping Kids Round First organization. Donations can be placed in the back of the Best Choice Realty truck in the STM east parking lot. The truck will be available on the drop-off weekend until 5pm on Sunday.  This will be our last drop-off weekend of the fall.  We will begin collecting items again in the spring.

We are NOT able to accept donations of clothing.  Please do not leave clothing in the drop-off truck.  Thank you!


Items Needed: (clean & gently used)

Fabric and sewing supplies

Sheets, bedding, pillows, towels, sleeping bags or mats

Canes, crutches, wheelchairs, walkers

Sports equipment - balls, gloves, shin guards, and cleats

Large suitcases to transport the items

St. Thomas More Annual Turkey Dinner

St. Thomas More Parish will be hosting our Annual Turkey Dinner on Sunday, November 1, 2026, serving a full turkey dinner with all the trimmings and a variety of homemade pies for dessert. Serving times are 10:45 am, 11:45 am, and 12:15 pm. Tickets are available at the parish office or at the door: Adults $15, Children (ages 6-10) $5, ages 5 & under are free. We hope to see you there!

Family Bingo with the Saints

Join us for  All Saints Day family Bingo hosted by the St Thomas More HSA and Moms Group.   Bingo will begin at 4:00pm in the STM Social Hall.  Favorite saint costumes are encouraged!

Blood Drive

Wednesday, November 11 | 7:30-10:30am and 12:00-3:00pm | St Thomas More, Brookings

Join us for a blood drive hosted by St. Thomas More Catholic Church in partnership with Community Blood Bank, which is celebrating 50 years of saving lives in our community. Every donation helps a neighbor in need, and we invite you to be part of that mission.  Donors must be 17 years or older (16 with parent permission form), weigh at least 110 pounds, and bring a photo ID.  To schedule a donation time, click here or call the STM office at 605-692-4361.

STM Fall Church Clean-Up

Monday, November 16 | 9:00am - 1:00pm | St Thomas More, Brookings

Help is needed for a good fall cleaning of our Sanctuary, Chapel, and Gathering Space. Main jobs are dusting window frames, wiping down pews and woodwork, vacuuming and wiping hymnal holders. We will be cleaning from 9:00am to 1:00pm unless we finish early. Come for as long or as short as you are able! Cleaning supplies will be provided.

Baptism Class

Thursday, November 19 | 6:30pm | St Thomas More, Brookings

Parents wishing to have their child/children baptized in the  All Saints Pastorate are required to attend a Baptism Preparation Class if the child to be baptized will be their first baptized at one of the parishes in our pastorate.  Class is held the 3rd Thursday of each month at 6:30pm in the Social Hall at St. Thomas More.  Please sign up to attend by calling 605-692-4361 or emailing secretary@stmbrookings.org.
