Ladies Night Out at La Cantina

All pastorate women are invited to join our Ladies Night Out on Tuesday, April 28th for some delicious food and wonderful fellowship. We will meet at 7:00pm at La Cantina restaurant in Brookings. Hosted by the STM Moms Group.

Paul Moriarty Memorial Bed Build
Saturday, May 2 | Sleep in Heavenly Peace location: 1815 Western Ave, Brookings
In honor of Paul Moriarty, let’s join together as a pastorate community to build beds for families in need with the Sleep in Heavenly Peace organization. The beds we build will go as far as Pine Ridge, SD, where over 600 have already been delivered from the Brookings community. Volunteers are needed for 2 shifts: 9:00am-noon (sign up
here) and 1:00-4:00pm (sign up
here). Our goal is to build 97 beds - the age Paul would have been in 2026. Monetary donations can be sent to the Knights of Columbus care of St. Thomas More Catholic Church.

Religious Education Closing Mass & Ice Cream

All pastorate religious education students and their families are invited to attend a special mass to close our year of classes. The Closing Mass will be held at 5:30pm at St Thomas More. Ice cream will be served in the Social Hall following mass.

Young Adult Theology on Tap
Thursday, May 7 | 6:00pm | Brookings
Calling all young adults (21+) in the All Saints Pastorate—Join us for a Theology on Tap evening on May 7th, starting at 6:00 p.m., held on a farm just east of Brookings. Fr Fitzpatrick will be the featured speaker. A meal of pork loin sandwiches, baked beans, and cookies will be provided, and you’re welcome to bring your own beverage. Drop Off Weekend for Pastorate Relief Project
Saturday, May 16 - Sunday, May 17 | St Thomas More East Parking Lot, Brookings
May 16-17 is our next drop-off weekend for items to be donated to the refugees and poor of Central America and Africa. The items will be delivered to those who need them by the Helping Kids Round First organization. Donations can be placed in the back of the Best Choice Realty truck in the STM east parking lot. The truck will be open until 5pm on Sunday.
Items Needed: (clean & gently used)
Sheets, bedding, pillows, towels, sleeping bags or mats
Canes, crutches, wheelchairs, walkers
Sports equipment - balls, gloves, shin guards, and cleats
Large suitcases to transport the items

Bloodmobile
Wednesday, May 20 | 7:30am - 3:00pm | St Thomas More, Brookings
The Community Blood Bank Bloodmobile will be in the St. Thomas More east parking lot on May 20th from 7:30am to 3:00pm. Please consider signing up to make a blood donation: Donation Sign Up. Just one unit of donated blood can potentially save up to 3 lives! A photo ID is now required when you check in.

Baptism Class
Thursday, May 21| 6:30pm | St Thomas More, Brookings
Parents wishing to have their child/children baptized in the All Saints Pastorate are required to attend a Baptism Preparation Class if the child to be baptized will be their first baptized at one of the parishes in our pastorate. Class is held the 3rd Thursday of each month at 6:30pm in the Social Hall at St. Thomas More. Please sign up to attend by calling 605-692-4361 or emailing secretary@stmbrookings.org.
